Rogersville finished unbeaten in the COC-Small last year, and with Christian Brown and Marcus Gorman leading the way, the Wildcats are the favorites to repeat as conference champs. Bolivar and Marshfield are the two teams that figure to be the biggest obstacles for the Wildcats.

Bolivar has its eyes set on a deep state tourney run in March, and should take care of business in the COC-Small beforehand. Despite the loss of some key players, Marshfield will not relinquish the conference crown without a fight. Morgan Henderson and Buffalo also will be in contention.

Springfield Catholic’s six-year old boys soccer program just won its second-straight state title and has been to the past five Class 1 Final Fours. Does that qualify for sports dynasty status?
